Phoenix police say a woman has died after she was hit by a car on Friday morning.
The woman was reportedly crossing 7th Avenue south of Mohave Avenue when a car struck her.
The driver stayed at the scene, however, the woman was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. She reportedly later died from her injuries.
The cause of the crash has not yet been determined. Police say impairment does not appear to be a factor.
