An altercation in south Phoenix ended with a shooting, police say.
It all began at a bar near 15th and Southern avenues. There was an altercation at the bar, and that altercation led to a shooting near 7th Avenue and Roeser Road.
Police say a person who was shot at in the leg then drove to a Circle K near Central Avenue after seeing a police presence at the store.
The Phoenix Police Department was investigating an unrelated shoplifting investigation when the man asked them for help. The victim was driving a red truck.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police tell ABC15 they currently have three suspects who have been detained. The individuals may be arrested later on, but for now are being questioned.
Police say all three individuals were picked up at the bar near 15th and Southern avenues.
The man's gunshot injury is not life threatening. The motive is unknown at this time, police say.
