A woman was killed and a man was critically injured in a shooting Tuesday near Dobbins Road and 7th Avenue, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Officials said the victims were shot shortly before 1 p.m. on La Mirada Drive. Both victims were taken to a hospital, but the woman was later pronounced dead. The man, who was shot several times, remains in critical condition, police said.
Information about the shooter was not available.
