Mary Searls says she was just getting out of bed when a car unexpectedly slammed through her wall.
Phoenix Police responded to the Sunday morning crash at her apartment complex near 12th Street and Mountain View Road.
"I hear this bang and next thing I know my bed's moving," Searls told ABC15.
The car has since been towed from the scene, but a huge hole has been left in her wall, just below her bedroom window on the first-floor of the building.
"It takes me a little longer than most people (to get up)" Searls said. If she had been asleep in bed at the time of the crash, it could have been much worse for her.
Fortunately, police say no one was injured during the ordeal. At this time, there is no word on what caused the crash.
