VIDEO: Police looking for arson suspect after Phoenix business fire

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for a man believed to have set a fire while attempting to burglarize a business early Wednesday morning.

Officials were called to the business complex near 7th Street and Thunderbird Road around 4:15 a.m.

A man was reportedly seen attempting to burglarize a storage unit behind a business there, and then 30 minutes later, the suspect lit the unit on fire and fled the area on foot.

The blaze damaged the business structure, police say.

The suspect is described as a man between 165 and 185 pounds. He was wearing dark shorts, a white tee shirt, dark tennis shoes and a multi-colored backpack at the time.
