FRIDAY: Ted Cruz visiting Valley for rally

As Arizona gears up for its presidential preference election, GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz is making his way to the Valley for a Friday rally. 

According to several event websites, Cruz will be making a special appearance at the "American Rally" which will also have former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, along with conservative commentator Glenn Beck in attendance. 

The event is scheduled for March 18 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  to be held at Arizona Christian University in north Phoenix near 27th Street and Cactus Road. 

Tickets are required, and can be requested online

Friday's event is hosted by Keep The Promise PAC, which is a group that supports Cruz as the GOP nominee for the presidential election.
