Police are investigating after a woman was killed near 23rd and Northern avenues in Phoenix late Tuesday night.
Police said the woman was cross mid-block around 10:30 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman passed away from her injuries.
Police said speed and impairment do not seem to have played a role in the collision.
An investigation is underway; other details are not available.
Police urge pedestrians to use a crosswalk.
