Police are searching for an armed assault suspect near a north Phoenix high school.
Phoenix police Sgt. Vince Lewis said the suspect may have also stolen a vehicle at gunpoint somewhere in the area of 35th Avenue and Cactus Road.
Drivers in the area between 35th and 39th avenues, near Moon Valley High School, were being rerouted around the scene.
Lewis told ABC15 the search is ongoing.
