Officers responded to a car into a canal early Sunday morning in Phoenix.
The initial call was thought to be a water rescue near 29th Avenue and Greenway Road, but it was later discovered there was no water in the canal.
According to police, the driver backed into the canal and needed help pulling the vehicle out.
It is unknown if the driver is facing any charges.
