Police say a man is in custody for allegedly pointing a weapon at a contractor working on a neighbor's home in north Phoenix.
Around 8 a.m. Monday, officers were called to a home near 7th and Grovers avenues after receiving reports of a disturbance.
Witnesses told officers that a homeowner in the area became upset with roofers working on his neighbor's home, officials said. At some point during the incident, the homeowner pointed a weapon at the roofers.
Officers responded to the home and spent several hours negotiating with the homeowner who eventually came out of his home and was taken into custody, a police spokesperson said.
No injuries were reported and an investigation is ongoing.
