PHOENIX — Phoenix police are investigating after a man's body was found in north Phoenix Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the area near Cave Creek and Hatcher roads to check out an open door at a business that was supposed to be closed.
While searching the area, they found the body of 47-year-old Lonnie Plato. Police say Plato's death appears suspicious and investigators will be on scene for the next several hours.
