Authorities are asking drivers to avoid the area of 33rd Avenue and Thunderbird Road after a crash between a car and a pedestrian.
Phoenix police said the crash was serious, but provided no other details.
Video from Air15 showed a car in the center turn lane with damage to one side of its windshield.
