PHOENIX — Police are investigating a double shooting that took place in north Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.
According to police, two people were shot inside Beck's Billiards near Cave Creek Road and Union Hills shortly after 1 p.m. The two were taken to area hospitals with serious injuries and are listed in extremely critical condition.
At this time, it is unclear what led to the shooting, but police say the two victims know each other and believe the shooting stemmed from an ongoing domestic violence investigation.
The names and age of the two people involved haven't been released yet. Police say there is no outstanding suspect in the shooting at this time.
