PHOENIX — An adult male pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle near 19th and Northern avenues early Friday morning, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, but could not provide additional information on what led to the crash.
Police are advising drivers to avoid the area on Northern Avenue between 19th and 21st avenues, both east and west, as they investigate the cause of the collision.
It is unclear when the roads will reopen.
