PHOENIX — A 60-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle late Friday night.
According to Phoenix police, the 60-year-old man was crossing the mid-block near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road when he was hit by a vehicle.
Officers attempted to save the man's life, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, who police have not identified, stayed on scene and showed no signs of impairment, according to police.
At this time, police do not recommend filing charges against the driver.
