A man in his 40s is in serious condition after being shot in the chest Monday night.
Crews were called to the scene near 7th Street and Union Hills around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities tell ABC15, the victim and suspect had some sort of altercation before the shooting occurred.
The shooting suspect has been detained and is being interviewed by police.
The victim was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.
