PHOENIX — A 28-year-old man was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly firing shots into several homes near 51st Avenue and Greenway Road, according to Phoenix police.
Police say they received a call for shots fired in the area around 2:25 a.m., and were sent to a home where a bullet had gone through the back door, causing the home security alarm to go off.
The home's residents told police they believed someone had broken in and was hiding within the house.
Police apprehended the suspect, Roland Kausin, who was hiding in a bedroom in the home's basement.
Kausin was booked on four counts of discharging a firearm at a residence, one count of burglary, criminal damage, and firing a gun within city limits.
