PHOENIX — A man is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle near 35th Avenue and Deer Valley Road Monday night.
Phoenix police say they responded to a collision involving a pedestrian at around 7 p.m.
Officers say they located a man who had been struck by a vehicle that was eastbound on Deer Valley Road.
The man has been transported to the hospital in extremely critical condition.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators, and speed or impairment are not believed to be contributing factors, police say.
The investigation is ongoing.
