Three people were taken to the hospital after a multi-car crash on Loop 101 Monday morning.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the SR-51 in the North Valley, but at this time, it's not clear how the crash occurred.
Air15 video showed several wrecked vehicles, including a van and smaller passenger car with serious damage. Drivers in both seriously damaged vehicles were seen still getting medical attention from paramedics.
Arizona State Troopers with DPS say the inside lanes of eastbound Loop 101 traffic are blocked, but traffic is still getting by in the outside lanes. A large backup remains behind the crash scene.
