Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire that ignited at an aircraft salvage yard near 32nd Street and Loop 101.

Crews responded around 12:30 p.m. to a report of a shed fire with planes inside. A Phoenix Fire Department spokesman said someone was working on salvage aircraft when the fire started.

The flames damaged the shed and several planes caught on fire.

There was no word on whether there were any injuries. A fire investigator is working to determine how the fire started.
