Phoenix fire officials are investigating a large mobile home fire that resulted in windows being shattered at surrounding homes.

Crews responded to the scene near 20th Street and Sweetwater Avenue around 11 a.m. Friday after receiving reports.

Air15 video showed heavy smoke coming from a mobile home on fire.

According to a Phoenix fire spokesperson, the incident may have stemmed from a gas leak but the investigation is still ongoing.

A man was home at the time, but was able to escape. No injuries were reported.

Phoenix fire says the explosion blew out all of the windows from surrounding homes and caused the evacuation of more than six neighbors while Southwest Gas crews and fire crews worked to secure the scene.
