PHOENIX — Department of Public Safety officials say two people have died following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 17 near Loop-303.
Officials say on Saturday evening witnesses described the vehicle rolling and coming to a rest about 20-30 yards away on the right shoulder of the highway.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, a total of five people were inside the vehicle.
A 30-year-old man is in extremely critical condition. A 19-year-old man and 22-year-old man were also transported to a hospital, but their current conditions are unknown.
The names and ages of the two killed haven't been released.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by DPS.
