When they arrived they found heavy smoke and flames coming from the back of the house.

The back patio was engulfed and the flames had spread into the house.

The homeowner was contacted at work by neighbors.

The family dog was inside and had to be rescued. A Fido bag was used and after 10 minutes of oxygen and cooling off the dog was able to breathe and sit up.
