A 1-year-old boy is hospitalized after being found unresponsive in a north Phoenix pool.
Firefighters responded to a home near Cave Creek Road and Grovers Avenue around 9 a.m. after receiving 911 reports about a child being pulled from a pool.
According to a fire spokesperson, the boy was found unresponsive and a person took the boy into the garage where CPR was performed until first responders arrived at the scene.
The boy remains hospitalized in extremely critical condition, officials said.
The Phoenix Police Department is conducting an investigation. No additional information was immediately available.
