PHOENIX — A body was found by fire crews inside a former bank in Phoenix after extinguishing a blaze Sunday night.
According to Phoenix fire officials, the fire happened at a former Bank of America located at 24th and Washington streets around 10 p.m.
Crews responded and were able to get the fire under control, but found a dead body after conducting a sweep of the inside. The identity of the deceased has yet to be released.
Fire investigators are now working to determine what caused the fire.
