When Sonny first made his way to the Arizona Humane Society, it was clear he hadn’t had the easiest start to his young life.

At just 6 months old, he already had some injuries and was not putting any weight on one of his front legs. After monitoring him for a few days and giving him the medical care, food, and water he so desperately needed, the medical staff noticed much improvement in his healing wounds but still no movement in his front leg.

They performed X-rays and determined that his leg needed to be removed to put him out of any more pain.

When you meet Sonny today, you would have no idea his “before” would turn into this happy, perky, loving “after.” He hardly even notices he only has three legs now and always keeps his positive attitude in every situation.

Sonny is the first to be rubbing up against his kennel to tell you hello when you walk in and loves to get all the attention he possibly can!

Sonny can’t wait to show you just how special he is and you can meet him by heading over to Sunnyslope. His adoption fee is $125, which covers his neuter surgery as well as his vaccines.
