PHOENIX — A wrong-way driver was stopped and taken into custody along Interstate 17 Wednesday morning.
Arizona Department of Public Safety officials say 24-year-old Hector Quiroz Juares stopped on the Indian School Road off-ramp around 3 a.m.
Juares was reportedly impaired at the time and was taken into custody by troopers.
No crash or injuries were reported during the incident.
Authorities say Juares was booked into jail for aggravated DUI.
