The Diamondbacks treated a fan Saturday night, whose condominium was flooded by monsoon storms earlier this month. J

Joan Evans told ABC15 that even though her place was under water, "at least the D-backs won."

The Diamondbacks and Fox Sports AZ saw the story and treated Evans to a game, suite, and snacks as her favorite team took on the Chicago Cubs.

Evans snacked on her kettle corn and chatted with other fans, perched up in the suite with great views of the ballpark.

"It's like night and day," said Evans. "It's surreal. I'm loving it. They are taking good care of me."

Evans was one of many condo owners, whose home was flooded near 40th street and Thomas Road when big storms hit on Aug. 3. Flood waters came rushing into her home and she was ankle-deep in water.

"Yes, I have to go back home later," said Evans. "But right now, to be out of it...is just great."

Evans said she has dehumidifiers set up throughout her house and she will get it worked out, but for now, she's happy to focus on some fun.

Evans said people from the ballpark even offered her furniture and tried to help in other ways.

"Thank you," said Evans. "Thanks to everyone who made this happen."
