PHOENIX — A woman was seriously injured after a shooting near Central and Glendale avenues Tuesday morning.
Officials say officers responded to a call of a shooting at a complex near the area.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a woman with a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries but police say she is expected to survive.
An investigation is underway as authorities are working to determine what led to the shooting.
