A 35-year-old woman is in serious condition after crashing into the carport of a house near Fillmore and 15th streets.
Phoenix police say the woman rolled her car and hit an awning at the entrance of the home. She had to be extricated by the Phoenix Fire Department from the car and was transported in serious condition to a local hospital.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
