A victim has died after being stabbed near Interstate 17 and Thomas Road Tuesday morning.
Around 11:15 a.m., Phoenix police say they responded to the area for a report of a stabbing that happened during a fight.
A suspect has been detained at this time, police said.
Eastbound Thomas Road at I-17 is closed for the next few hours as officers investigate.
