Valley nonprofit groups looking for volunteers

Volunteers are the backbone of just about any non-profit group, helping to support the mission and put their skills to work for a good cause. 

The Valley is home to many non-profits that are always looking for volunteers. If you're interested in giving back to your community, here are some local non-profits that could use your help: 

  • Feed My Starving Children
  • HandsOn Greater Phoenix
  • Military Assistance Mission (MAM)
  • Phoenix Rescue Mission
  • Ronald McDonald House
  • Salvation Army
  • Special Olympics
  • Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SAARC)
  • St. Vincent de Paul
  • St. Mary's Food Bank
  • United Way

The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul will also hold a new volunteer orientation on Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m. at their main campus, located at 420 West Watkins Road in Phoenix. No advance registration is necessary.
