The Phoenix Fire Department says three children and an adult have been taken to the hospital after a crash near 7th Street and Broadway involving a sanitation truck.
Firefighters say an 11-month-old girl, seven-year-old boy and eight-year-old girl were all taken in serious condition to the hospital after the crash.
A 30-year-old woman driving an SUV with the three children inside was also taken to the hospital. A driver of the sanitation truck involved in the crash was treated on scene for minor injuries.
Police have not said what caused the crash or if anyone would be charged. All three children were restrained properly in the crash according to firefighters.
