Flyers looking for a cheap domestic flights are in luck if they fly out of Florida or California — though the top-ranked airport for affordable flights is located in a favorite vacation destination northwest of Phoenix.
A recent study conducted by Finance Buzz ranked 45 U.S. airports based on the average price of airfare for a domestic flight.
The most expensive average was $427.37 at Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia.
The cheapest average was $240.35 out of Las Vegas' McCarran International Airport, with Sky Harbor coming in toward the higher end of the scale.
