Fire crews worked overnight to extinguish a fire at a home near 19th and Northern avenues.
The Phoenix Fire Department said no one was inside the home when it went up in flames around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday.
The home is a vacant building.
Someone who was walking by saw the flames and called 911. The fire spread to a nearby school that is also vacant, officials said.
The fire is considered to be "suspicious," firefighters said since this is the second time a fire has sparked at the home before.
