Police are searching for a suspect who shot a man in a Phoenix alley before 1 a.m. on Friday.
According to police, a resident of an apartment heard a knock on the door and found a person asking for help after being shot near 22nd Avenue and Adams Street.
The suspect is described as a short Hispanic man wearing a white flannel shirt and dark shorts.
Police are looking into the possibility that drug activity may have led to the shooting.
The victim is currently at the hospital.
At this time, police do not believe the shooting is connected to the ongoing serial street shooter investigation.
