Phoenix police and Silent Witness are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of holding a clerk and customer at gunpoint during a robbery in July.

Authorities say just after 5 a.m. on July 28 a suspect entered the Circle near 35th Avenue and McDowell Road and pulled a handgun on the clerk.

The suspect reportedly demanded money from the clerk and then ran behind the counter to take cash from the register.

Police say the suspect then tried to rob an unknown customer at gunpoint before fleeing the store.

He was last seen getting into the passenger seat of a light-colored four-door vehicle with faded paint on the hood.

The suspect is described as 35 to 40 years old, between 5'7" and 5'10", and weighing between 120 to 140 pounds with dark hair.
