Street vendor shot, killed in Phoenix on Tuesday night

Police are looking for two men responsible for the shooting death of a 59-year-old man in Phoenix. 

According to Phoenix police, officers responded to a neighborhood near Cave Creek and Bell roads around 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. 

Police say local street vendor Eladio Arrendando-Estrada, 59, was approached by two men during an apparent armed robbery attempt. The suspects first fired a shot into the ground in front of Arrendando-Estrada and then shot him as he ran away. 

He was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
