Police are investigating after a smoke shop employee was shot in Phoenix overnight.
According to information from the scene near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road, a smoke shop/cell phone store worker was shot and stumbled across the street to a laundromat to get help.
Police have not yet determined whether the shooting was the result of an argument or robbery, but they are working to get a search warrant for surveillance footage.
The victim is said to be in stable condition.
