PHOENIX — Hello -- and welcome -- monsoon 2020! After a brief tease on Sunday evening, storms reappeared on Monday evening, bringing with them bouts of intense rain, wind gusts, lightning, and thunder in the East Valley.

Thousands of customers have lost power, according to APS' and SRP's outage maps.
