A man was taken into custody on Tuesday morning after barricading himself inside his home for four hours.
Police said the standoff began around midnight near 14th Street and Missouri Avenue where police were attempting to conduct a mental health pick-up order.
The man then barricaded himself inside his home.
Officers were not sure if the suspect was armed or not so they brought out the SWAT team just in case. SWAT officers negotiated with the man and got him to come out of the house shortly before 5 a.m.
He was the only person inside the home, according to police.
