PHOENIX — A burglary suspect was arrested after climbing a roof of a Phoenix area high school Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a burglary call at Phoenix Christian Preparatory high school located near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road at approximately 7 a.m., according to Phoenix police.
The suspect reportedly refused to comply with officers and "less lethal tools" were used to subdue and bring the individual into custody, officials said.
Phoenix Christian Preparatory was put on lockdown for the incident, but the lockdown has since been lifted, according to police.
Crews remain at the scene near 19th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Video from the scene showed multiple police vehicles and law enforcement officials on top of a roof, taking an individual off on a stretcher.
No injuries were reported during the incident and no other suspects were located.
