Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in Phoenix Wednesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. near 32nd Street and McDowell Road.
Authorities tell ABC15, the victim was stabbed in the back by a woman. Police say the victim and suspect know each other, but it's unclear at this time what prompted the attack.
Officers say the man suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to survive.

The victim and suspect are not being identified at this time. Police believe the two may be transients.
