Police and Silent Witness are asking for the public's help in identifying a man accused of burglarizing a Phoenix home in August.

Authorities say on August 23, just before noon, a man broke into a home near 16th Street and Osborn Road and cut his hand in the process.

A security camera captured video of the suspect stealing the victim's Kindle Tablet from the coffee table before he fled the area.

The security footage shows the suspect's bloody hand wrapped up into his shirt.

Police describe the man as 25 to 35 years old and having a thin build.

He was last seen wearing a San Francisco hat and a black and white striped polo style shirt.

If you have any information on the identity of this man, you are asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS, you may remain anonymous.
