A Phoenix Fire spokesperson says a second person had to be helped down Piestewa Peak in less than 24 hours.
Firefighters were called to the mountain on Sunday afternoon after a 25-year-old man suffered medical issues on the trail, authorities said.
According to the Phoenix Fire Department, the man able to walk down on his own.
The man did not go to the hospital for treatment.
On Saturday night, rescuers helped a woman down the mountain after she reported feeling too fatigued. She was able to walk down on her own after crews helped rehydrate her.
