A Phoenix woman has pleaded guilty to two counts of child abuse in criminal case stemming from the death of her 4-year-old daughter in 2013.
Maricopa County Superior Court officials say Melissa Centeno entered the guilty plea Tuesday.
She had been charged with first-degree murder and two counts of child abuse.
A change-of-plea hearing is scheduled Wednesday for co-defendant Sergio Luiz.
