Phoenix police say a 60-year-old man has died after a shooting Saturday night.
Police responded to the area of 15th Avenue near Van Buren around 8:40 p.m.
Witnesses told investigators they heard three or four men arguing in an alley before hearing a single shot, according to a Phoenix Police Department spokeswoman.
The victim was taken to the hospital with "extremely critical" injuries, police said.
Officials said they were still working to put together a description of the suspect or suspects involved.
