Phoenix police searching for armed robbery suspect targeting Valley businesses

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Police Department is searching for a suspect accused of multiple robberies across the Valley in December.

Police say the suspect has entered several businesses in Phoenix and Tempe armed with a gun between December 7 and December 19. Once inside, the suspect demands money from the cash register and flees.

Surveillance video of the suspect at multiple businesses is in the player above.

Police say the most recent robbery occurred near 59th Avenue and McDowell Road on Wednesday evening. Exact dates and locations of the other robberies have not been released.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25 to 40 years of age, between 5'6" and 6'0" and 165-195 lbs.

So far no injuries have been reported.
