Phoenix Police: Man demands cigarettes, beer and cash from Circle K employee, suspect still sought

Police are searching for a man who robbed a convenience store in central Phoenix last month.

Authorities were called to the Circle K near 12th Street and Campbell Avenue on June 4 after receiving reports of a robbery.

Police say the armed man allegedly went behind the counter and demanded money, beer and cigarettes from the employee. Afterward, the suspect fled on-foot.

He’s described as being Hispanic, 25 years old, 5’6” and 195 pounds. He had black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a Cardinals hat, black T-shirt, gray shorts and Nike shoes. He had a bandana wrapped around his neck and a watch on his left wrist.
