Phoenix police are investigating two separate shootings that happened less than a mile of each other on Sunday night.
Police say around 10:30 p.m., an officer heard a gunshot in the area of 27th Avenue and Van Buren Street. The officer checked the area and found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
The victim was able to identify the known suspect to police, however, the suspect has not yet been located.
Around 10 minutes later, Phoenix Fire and Police officials say a woman was shot in the hip near 28th Drive and Pierce Street. She was reportedly taken to the hospital with serious injuries but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say the woman was shot when an unknown suspect shot into the trailer home she was inside. Two other women inside were not hurt.
The suspect in the shooting has not yet been located.
